Coolabah Ecology is owned by Principal Ecologist Lincoln Smith (Linc) who primarily operates as a subcontractor to Environmental Consultancies. He has significant experience with site environmental management and the coordination of ecological surveys throughout Queensland. He has undertaken and lead numerous ecology surveys for land development, mining, gas, renewables, rail, port and infrastructure projects across Queensland and northern NSW.

Linc has over 14 years experience as an ecologist working for Environmental consultants, operating as a freelance ecologist, fulfilling a site Environmental Advisor / Ecologist role for Santos and managing large scale revegetation projects.

Coolabah Ecology specialises in “landscape and floristic ecology” services including Biocondition assessments, regional ecosystem ground truthing, protected plant surveys, PMAV’s, vegetation community mapping, habitat quality assessments and environmental advisory.

Linc has established Coolabah Ecology to provide high quality ecological services at a sole trader price. He is focused on supporting his clients and passionate towards enhancing the skills of other ecologists particularly with his field work experience in remote locations.
